Move In & Move Out

Moving is a very stressful time for many people. We can help by getting their home Sparkling clean. For a showing, a final walk-through or to welcome them to a new place. Your work during a move in or move out makes a big difference for our clients!

Introduction to Move In-Out

A move in or move out clean is similar to any other cleaning in that you will still follow the PMC process working:

  • Top to Bottom
  • Left to Right
  • Back to Front

What makes a move in or move out different is that the house is often empty. This means attention to detail is critical since missed areas will be easier to spot. Most move in or move out cleans come from relator referrals. A low quality cleaning could mean the loss of referrals from that relator in the future. A SPARKLING clean, and the relator will tell other relators which means more opportunity for you and the business!

Let's Get to Cleaning!

There are few things that you will do that you would not normally do during a deluxe deep clean or a maintenance clean that will need to be done during a move in-out.

Oven

Often times the client will run the cleaning cycle on the oven. Just wipe out the interior with a damp paper towel. Do not use any product on the interior of the oven.

Clean the door glass as usual

Cabinets & Drawers

In addition to the outside and handles on cabinets and drawers, you must also clean the interior. Make sure to wipe out all shelves (especially the bottom ones!) and all drawers. Use the crevice tool on your vacuum/whisk broom/tile brush as needed. Just be sure not to scratch the wood.

Refrigerator/Freezer-Inside

In addition to the outside, you will also wipe down the inside of the refrigerator/freezer. Using your general cleaner/soap scum to wipe down all interior surfaces, including shelves, drawers & the sides.

Bathroom Cabinets & Drawers

Like the kitchen, you'll need to clean the interiors of all bathroom cabinets and drawers
